The Five Concepts






Hour Glass of Clams


The first one we decided to explore was mashing together my Twisted Clams model with Brandon's Hour Glass Model. This is the model we decided to print. It's main function is art, secondary is a vase or pencil holder. The aesthetic qualities of this model are it's shared twisted and crossing design. We found out when printing this model that there a few small areas that tried to start in mid air, but they are mostly hidden.





Tree Hour Glass


For the second hybrid we mashed together my Trunky the Tree with with Brandon's Hour Glass Model. This one I am also printing, but might be done before class. It's main function is art. It has a tube down the center that could be used to display something like a flower or some kind of art on a stick. This is entirely self supporting and have each printed separately before making the hybrid.











Enshrouded Tree


Our third hybrid concept is my Trunky the Tree wrapped inside of Brandon's Twisted Cage. This one also functions as art, although it also the same tube down the center as the above concept. This one also entirely self supporting and printable.












Spikey Vased Hour Glass

Our third model is Brandon's Hour Glass on top of my Spiky Vase, morphed with look like two different halves of an hour glass.













Clams in a Cup

Our final model is my Twisted Clams inside of Brandon's Elevated Cup.

Furdy's Castle Project

 Furdy's Castle Project   For my castle project, I was inspired by a game I have been playing for many years called Stronghold Crusader HD. I started with a smaller border with the same size towers, but quickly doubled the internal dimensions for better proportions. After review of the concept, I added more details such as windows, more doors, better textures, arrow windows in the towers and the gatehouse.
